If you have bought Vuela Basic ticket then you will not get any free checked baggage facility. But if you have bought Vuela Classic or Plus ticket then you will get 1 or 2 checked baggage for free. Personal Items Fees

Irrespective of your Volaris flight ticket, you can carry one personal item such as any sports equipment with you in the passenger’s cabin for free. According to Volaris Airline Baggage Allowance, if you want to take extra baggage then you might have to pay the charges for it. This privilege will not be applicable to you if you have bought Vuela basic ticket. Checked Baggage

The checked baggage should be under 62 linear inches. The dimension size includes the handles and wheels. The weight of the checked baggage should be 55 pounds (25 kg).

Personal Items

The dimension of the personal item should be under 14 x 18 x 8 inches (length x width x height) including the handle. 

For International Flights Carry-On Baggage

Note: The combined weight of the carry-on baggage and personal item for the passenger traveling in Vuela Basic should be under 22 pounds (10 kg). And for the passengers in Vuela Classic or Plus the combined weight should be under 44 pounds (20 kg).

How to Pay for Volaris Baggage Fees?

Volaris Airlines offers two methods to its passengers to pay baggage fees. You can use online methods and offline methods to pay the fees. You can check the details below:

Online Method

  • Visit the official website of Volaris Airlines or download the mobile app
  • Open the payment portal 
  • Enter your boarding details
  • Pay through cards (Credit/Debit)
  • Then you will receive the successful payment confirmation message. 

Offline Method

You can directly pay your fee at the Volaris check in counter at the airport. Give your boarding details and make the payment through cash or credit card/ debit card (preferred by the airport authority). During the baggage check-in, the staff at the counter can ask you some questions regarding your bag. After proceeding they will give you baggage tags for the security purpose of your bag.
