Refund and Cancellation Policy

The general refund and cancellation policies are covered here. Please view the airline's fare rule while booking a flight ticket. The airline's policy and fare rules dictate our refund and cancellation policy.

Payment Policy

Payment can be made by credit card or debit card (Visa, Master, Discover, and American Express).

A reservation is not complete until confirmed/ticketed. To protect our customers, we verify with the card company that the billing addresses and other information provided by you are accurate. Until such information is verified, the fare is subject to change.

We are not responsible for any transaction that is declined based upon a credit/debit card by the issuing company or a travel provider or if, for any reason, the debit/credit card billing address and/or credit card verification number cannot be verified in a timely manner, nor are we responsible for any changes in fare or any other charges that may occur during our verification process.

At times when the fare selected is not available and an approval code may have been taken on your credit card, if the transaction is not completed the approval code may block your available credit for a time period until the bank removes the block.

Third-party credit card payment requires authorization from the cardholder. Ticket purchase is not complete unless we receive authorization from the cardholder. We will notify you if your credit card is not valid, any information is missing or entered incorrectly or funds are not available. In such cases, the ticket will be finally processed once we talk to the cardholder and settle the discrepancy.

You agree to be responsible and fully liable for any and all credit card payments, disputes, or any other issue such as fraud made to us or to any of our suppliers. You agree to pay farecopy.com in case of any fraud or chargeback.

Customer/user statement: "I understand and agree that once I pay for this ticket, I will not receive a refund of any portion of the money I paid for this ticket, under any circumstances unless fare rules permit. Buying tickets by credit card, I will not be able to file a challenge to the charge that will be placed on my credit card and I hereby waive any rights to challenge the charge.

I instruct the credit card issuer to fully and completely ignore any such challenge and not to forward any such challenge neither to the airline on which this ticket entitles to travel nor to the travel agency that is selling me this ticket."

When you receive the statement, you will find the total charges on your card will be the same as agreed but it may be split in more than one transaction with breakdown such as (airline name + agency fee = total charge) for each passenger. If you have more than one airline, charges may be split in both airlines’ names plus the agency fee for all passengers. The agency fee will appear as www.farecopy.com

or

Sometimes, total charges on your card will appear as one single charge from www.farecopy.com.(Total combined charge for all passengers).

or

In some cases, total charges on your card will appear with the airline name for each passenger.

In all the above cases your total charge will be the same as you have agreed. Please check your card statement carefully and combine all break-down of the charges together to reach the total agreed amount. If you have any questions call our 24x7 support at 1-888-266-4856 before you do any chargeback.

All chargeback is subject to a $50.00 reprocessing fee for each passenger on top of the original charge.

Agency Service Fee and Breakdown of Charge

All fares are inclusive of the agency service fee. Wherever applicable, the agency service fee will be included in the total fare displayed. An agency service fee is charged per person for all passenger types to provide value such as customer support, 24x7 toll-free phone, ticketing, quality control, technology automation, etc. The service fee on airline ticket range between USD 25.00 to USD 200.00 or more based on the fare type, availability, seasonality, referral source, and destinations.

Additional last-minute processing fees apply for urgent travel. For all last-minute bookings, we undertake added security steps to prevent any fraudulent charges made to your card by unauthorized users. These security steps include card verification with your financial institutions, early fraud alerts on your purchase, the use of fraud prevention tools, authentication of charge authorization, and more.

These added securities steps cost us more than usual and we try to cover some of that cost by charging a "last-minute processing fee". This fee helps us to serve our customers at the last minute with full promptness and security. The agency service fee is subject to change prior to any advance notice, fee is non-refundable and will also be charged in case you decide to cancel or change your booking under applicable airline/supplier rules. If you need any clarification regarding the agency fee, please call us before you complete your booking.

In all the above cases your total charge will be the same as quoted and authorized by you at the time of booking.

Refund Policy

All refund requests must be made before your travel dates and take up to 4 weeks.

A) Refunds are not possible in case of flight delays; however, the airline always tries to provide you with the best possible alternative.

B) Delays in ticket deliveries of lost, stolen, or misplaced tickets (E-Tickets are recommended where available).

All domestic airline tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. If you are unable to travel, you may cancel your ticket at least 2 hours before the first flight to get future credit with the same airlines and for the same passenger. You can reuse this credit with the applicable changes fee plus the difference in fare. The ticket canceled after the departure of the first flight has no value. Change fee varies from airline to airline. An agency ticket exchange fee may apply. All domestic partially used or no-show tickets have no refund or credit value.

Most international tickets are non-refundable. In certain cases, the airline may allow cancellations, and a credit may be available for future ticket purchases on the same airline for the same passenger. Reissue (exchange) fee applies from $100.00 to $500.00 or more depending on the airline and fare rule. Usually, the credit is valid for one year from the date of the original purchase. Tickets must be canceled prior to your first flight segment. An agency processing fee applies.

You may request for refund by calling us at +1 888-266-4856. Upon receiving such a request, we will submit an application to the respective airlines to review and if the request gets approved by the airline, you will be entitled to get a refund of your ticket. We would not be able to suggest to you the exact time frame of the refund credited to you as this process is controlled by the airlines. All International partially used and no-show tickets have no refund or credit value.

Your rights to a refund are limited as most of airline tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. Kindly read the airline fare rules carefully while purchasing the airline ticket and agree.
