  • Traveler information is due 30 days prior to travel.

  • Cancellation of seats, once a deposit payment has been made, will result in forfeiture of all monies paid.

Note: JetBlue does not discount group fares or honor lower fares on group bookings.

Can I check in online for Group Booking?

The answer is a big no! People traveling in group bookings are not allowed to check in online, through the JetBlue mobile app, or at an airport kiosk. The only way to JetBlue check in is via the counter Check-in. After arriving at the airport, make sure to visit the ticket counter, and an agent at the counter will be happy to assist you with your check-in.

Eligibility Criteria and Requirements for Group Bookings

Apart from the general conditions, the airlines also have certain requirements and criteria that you must adhere to and fulfill in order to get your group booking done successfully.

Group size qualifications:

  • A minimum of 10 customers or more, belonging to various segments such as sports, youth, church, school, or community groups, are eligible for our services.

  • It is mandatory for all group customers to be scheduled on the same flight, on the same day. In case customers choose to travel separately, they will be considered individual bookings and will be subject to regular fare rules and restrictions, including unaccompanied minor fees.

  • For groups consisting of minors under the age of 18, it is essential to have sufficient chaperones accompanying the group on the same reservation. Chaperones must be at least 18 years old to meet the requirements.

Deposit:

  • To confirm flights within North and South America, a nonrefundable deposit of $50 per person, per JetBlue Airlines group reservation is necessary within 14 days from the booking date for reservations made 120 days or more before the departure.

  • For transatlantic flights, a nonrefundable deposit of $150 per person is required within 14 days from the booking date for reservations made 120 days or more before the departure.

  • Your deposit will be credited towards your final payment.

  • Failure to submit the deposit by the due date may result in the cancellation of your reservation by JetBlue.

Payment:

Payment Information-

  • The final payment for domestic travel must be made 30 days prior to the departure date.

  • For international and transatlantic travel, the final payment is due 60 days before the departure date.

  • Failure to make the final payment by the due date may result in JetBlue canceling the reservation(s) without prior notice, and all funds paid will be forfeited.

Payment Type-

  • Payment for group bookings, including deposits and fees, is exclusively collected in U.S. dollars, while foreign currency conversion rates may vary.

  • We accept most major credit cards, personal checks, agency checks, and money orders. Please refer to your contract for specific payment details.

  • Group bookings are limited to a maximum of four payment transactions.

  • Payments must reach our Salt Lake City, UT office on or before the payment due date.

  • Additional payment restrictions may apply based on your travel dates.

Name Guidelines

Customer Names-

  • The deadline for providing all customer names is 30 days before the departure date, applicable to domestic, international, and transatlantic travel.

  • Failure to submit the names by the due date may result in canceling JetBlue flight without prior notice, and cancellation fees will be imposed.

Name Changes-

  • Name changes can be requested for a fee of $100 per name, in addition to any applicable taxes and fees. Such changes must be made at least 72 hours prior to the scheduled departure.

  • Name corrections, on the other hand, can be made at no extra cost and must be completed at least 72 hours before the departure time.

Deviations:

  • Once the final payment has been settled and the itinerary has been ticketed, individuals within the group can make deviations for an additional charge of $135 per person, along with the corresponding airfare increase. Your group is allowed to deviate up to 20% of the total group size.

  • It is possible to choose new travel dates up to two weeks before or after the original departure date.

  • Please note that any deviation is subject to the JetBlue change fee, in addition to any increase in airfare.

  • All requests for deviations must be made by the group leader.

Changes, cancellations, fees, and refunds

  • Changes or cancellations made within 30 days of departure for domestic travel will result in the complete forfeiture of the amount paid.

  • For international and transatlantic travel, changes or cancellations made within 60 days of departure will result in the complete forfeiture of the amount paid.

  • Any changes or cancellations to a domestic, international, or transatlantic group booking, made after the deposit is paid but before the full payment is made, will incur a change fee of $135 per person, along with any increase in airfare.

  • If changes are made after the full payment is settled, but outside the 30 or 60-day timeframe (depending on the destination), a change fee of $135 per person, along with any increase in airfare, will apply. In case the changes result in a lower fare, the difference will be forfeited.

  • All payments are non-refundable.

  • If the group size drops below 10 customers before making the full payment, the reservation(s) will be canceled and rebooked at the current fare, resulting in the forfeiture of any deposits already paid. Fees will be applicable. The new reservation will be subject to the general fare rules and restrictions.

  • All changes must be made by contacting the JetBlue Groups Desk via phone.

Additional tickets/Internet bookings

  • Additional tickets added after the initial group reservation will be priced at the current fare, and full payment may be required at the time of booking.

  • Tickets booked online will not be eligible to be included in the group reservation and cannot be added to it. Internet bookings are subject to our standard fare rules and restrictions, including unaccompanied minor fees.

  • Unfortunately, we are unable to include minors who have been booked separately into the group reservation.

Seat Assignment

  • Once the deposit has been made, a block of seats will be assigned. We will make every effort to accommodate your group together, taking into account seat availability at the time of deposit. However, please note that seat assignments are not guaranteed and are subject to change.

  • After receiving the final payment and customer names, and once the seats have been ticketed, you have the option to purchase Even More® Space seating. Payment for Even More® Space seating must be made at the time of purchase.

TrueBlue and Mosaic

  • Group reservations cannot include TrueBlue numbers.

  • Mosaic and AAdvantage elite benefits cannot be utilized for group reservations.

  • Group reservations cannot accommodate frequent flyer numbers from other airline programs.

  • To receive points for any JetBlue-operated flight taken within 12 months, please sign in to your TrueBlue account after travel and utilize the "Request missing points" link.
